Feel free to respond my friend. I want all opinions. I'm just relearning the subject so it would be nice to have more comments. Kovah has been a surprising breath of fresh air. I think we learn more about ourselves when someone disagrees. smile.gif

If i'm not mistaken , the founding fathers believed in a creator but no specific religion.
I believe the same, I know there has to be something more out there other than space. I don't know how the first human got here, if aliens created us or God made adam/eve. Maybe we evolved from monkeys, I don't know and have no desire to spend hours reading scripts/books and having philosophical debates over something no one will ever know.Time can be better spent to improve quality of life for yourself and others.
What happens when you die? No one will ever be able to tell us, so all we can do is keep living and not worry to much about what happens when we are gone. The meaning of life? : life is to try to better ourselves and enrich the peoples life around us. That means whatever the reader needs it to mean.
Is it destiny? Is it choice? Or is it a series of choices moving toward or away from a purpose?(stolen from a movie but still a good quite imho)
There is black, white, and grey. Some decisions require doing something bad in order to achieve a positive result (killing thousands of people to free Iraq from Saddam Hussain.)
I don't believe that people are inherently evil, just inherently selfish. We all want for ourselves and from this can grow great evil.
I cant say religion is all bad, many good things can come if practice correctly. Unfortunately many wars have been started based upon religion, destroying the very core of what the religion originally intended. Also, many people use religion as a reason for prejudice and consider themselves better because they believe in the "right" God. People close there minds and deal in absolutes, falling to "God" to make there sins right.

Its all a bit random but I am no author.
